A living lab and practical models for learning, thinking, and acting under uncertainty
Because today’s uncertain world demands more than even our most advanced entrepreneurial learning and generative AI models are able to provide
Entrepreneurial Intelligence (EI)
Traditionally, a person’s Entrepreneurial Intelligence (EI) was built alone and almost accidentally over long periods of time – by having to live through uncertainty, make lots of good and bad decisions, and wait to see what the results were. Today, it can happen very quickly based on the lessons learned by many who came before you. EI can be collected, shared, and applied in the moment using even the devices in our pockets. It helps ambitious people build the clarity, capability, and judgment to think and act well when uncertainty is high.
Our Mission
at the EI Lab
The work of the EI Lab draws on decades of experience from hundreds of people across classrooms, boardrooms, startups, and life transitions – and was inspired by the breadth and depth of experiences shared in my En Factor Podcast. It integrates research with real‑world practice, and individual insight with collective learning to yield a new way of empowering entrepreneurs. The EI Lab’s mission is to help people build clarity, capability, and judgment so they can navigate uncertainty with greater confidence, agency, and resilience.
Engage with EI
Entrepreneurial Intelligence isn’t developed by reading about it – it’s the result of practice, reflection, conversation, and iteration. The EI Lab is designed as an open, evolving space where people can engage with real experiences, tested ideas, and emerging tools as we discover and design them.
